Yacht Club Games’ first Switch venture is already available, so I took it for a test run.
Launched alongside the Nintendo Switch (via the eShop) was action platformer Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove – a collection of Shovel Knight and its DLC in one package. As someone who has never played Shovel Knight before, but had heard it was retro in the best way, I was intrigued; and thanks to Yacht Club Games I got to take it for a spin.
Below is only my second ever attempt at playing, as I figured out the controls on my own once beforehand (I couldn’t resist). That said, it’s the entire first level of the game – so I guess I didn’t do too bad after all. 😉
Check it out;
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove launched alongside the Nintendo Switch, priced at $27.99CAD | $24.99US | €24.99 | £22.49. If you’re interested you should pick it up, or if you’ve already played it the Specter of Torment bit is available on its own for $12.69CAD | $9.99US | €9.99 | £8.99 instead. 😉
